My Story & Mission

As a Headteacher and experienced education consultant, I bring a broad and strategic understanding of the education sector — shaped by first-hand experience across local, national, and international contexts. My work is rooted in a deep belief in transformational education — where systems are modern, learners are supported holistically, and schools operate with clarity, purpose, and equity.

I began my career in the early years and primary sector, working with children aged 3 to 11 across a wide range of settings. My experience spans from nursery provision to upper Key Stage 2, where I’ve led teams, developed curriculum models, and shaped inclusive classroom environments that put learners first. I have also supported secondary schools, particularly in areas such as transition, continuity of learning, and whole-school systems.

As a senior leader in a 3–18 school, I played a central role in guiding the successful transition from three separate schools into a single, unified all-through provision. This involved strategic planning, operational leadership, and a focus on building a strong, shared ethos — all while ensuring that learners experienced stability, continuity, and care.

I hold a Master’s degree in Education from Cardiff University, one of the UK’s leading research institutions, as well as the National Professional Qualification for Headteachers (NPQH). These qualifications have equipped me with a strong academic foundation to underpin my leadership — allowing me to lead with both rigour and empathy, and to offer evidence-informed, practical solutions to the challenges schools and families face.

Beyond the UK, I have taught and advised in international schools, where I gained direct experience with global curricula and cross-cultural education systems. I’ve worked with schools undergoing rapid change — helping them embed new frameworks, develop learner-centred policies, and build teacher capacity.

A key part of my mission is to modernise education. I believe we cannot lead 21st-century schools with 20th-century systems. Our processes, structures, and support models must evolve. I am passionate about using the tools we already have — from data to digital platforms — to work smarter, not harder. My approach is focused on modernisation, system design, and clarity — empowering schools and families to move forward with purpose.

In parallel, I work closely with families to provide bespoke consultancy and advocacy, especially in navigating SEND (children with additional learning needs), school communication, and system-level understanding. I know how important it is for parents to feel heard, supported, and equipped to work in partnership with schools. Through trusted guidance, strategic support, and clear communication, I help families feel confident and informed in their child’s journey.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked at local authority, consortia, and national government levels — contributing to the development of curriculum frameworks, policy direction, and professional learning structures. I’ve supported hundreds of schools with curriculum implementation, leadership development, school improvement, and whole-system thinking.

At the heart of all my work are six core values: integrity, transparency, fairness, passion, dedication, and empathy. I believe in high expectations with deep support, and that education should be a tool for opportunity, not limitation. Whether I’m advising a school, mentoring a teacher, or supporting a family, my aim is always the same: to build systems that serve children better — now, and for the future.
